Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Aja Panchang website, consumer application, and optional Developer API Platform operated by Aja Consulting Services LLP (“we”, “us”). By using the site or creating an account you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Aja Panchang provides Vedic panchangam for your location (tithi, nakshatra, yoga, karana, sunrise and moon times), festival calendars, muhurta, hora, choghadiya, and astronomy. Optional paid plans and API keys are described on the pricing and documentation pages.

2. Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract under the laws of India. If you use the service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.

3. Accounts and API keys

You are responsible for safeguarding login credentials and any API keys issued to your account. Do not share live keys in public repositories or client-side code. We may suspend credentials that abuse rate limits, violate these Terms, or threaten platform stability.

4. Acceptable use

You may use the website and APIs for lawful purposes. You may not attempt to circumvent authentication, scrape the public website as a substitute for a paid plan, interfere with other users, or attack the service (including denial-of-service or credential stuffing).

5. Plans, billing, and cancellation

Paid plans are billed according to the pricing page and checkout flow. Unused quotas do not roll over unless stated otherwise. Cancelling a paid plan stops future charges; it does not refund amounts already paid unless required by law or stated at checkout. Enterprise agreements may include additional commercial terms.

6. Intellectual property

The website, trademarks, documentation, and calculation outputs as presented in our products remain our property or that of our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the service for your personal or internal business use, or as permitted by your API plan. You may not copy, resell, or reverse engineer the service except as allowed by law.

7. Accuracy and cultural use

Panchangam and astronomy calculations are provided for informational and cultural use. Always verify critical muhurta or ritual decisions with a qualified practitioner. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Astronomy data uses Swiss Ephemeris; classical siddhanta adjustments apply when you select that basis.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aja Consulting Services LLP and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the website or APIs, including decisions based on calculated times or positions. Our aggregate liability for a paid plan period is limited to fees you paid for that period.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we must do so for legal or security reasons. Sections that by nature should survive (including liability, intellectual property, and governing law) continue after termination.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Hyderabad, Telangana have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any non-excludable consumer rights.
